Atlas F Missile Silo Tour
Venue
Atlas Ad Adtra
Select Thursday, June 12th, then purchase tickets to the 2:30pm tour.
Tour a renovated Atlas F Missile base from the 1950’s and 1960’s that has been renovated and restored. Hear about the history from the Cold War between the USA and USSR. This facility once held one of the first ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missle) – a nuclear missle designed to guarantee peace.
The Atlas Ad Astra tour is less than 1.5 hours northwest of Hutchinson, just off of I-70 in north-west Kansas. The guided tour starts promptly at 2:30pm, and is mostly indoors/underground. There's about 60’ of stairs to descend to get into the bunk house. Due to the historic and military nature of the space, it is not an ADA-friendly excursion.
To reserve your spot on the tour, sign up for the 2:30 tour on June 12th. The tour is $25 per person, and some discounts may apply.
Navigation: It has been reported the Apple Maps will not route you to the correct location for the missile silo. Please use Google Maps for navigation purposes.
